On a visit to Eau Claire, Eric Hovde and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) sat down with community members to talk about the state of the pharmaceutical industry.
The visit was part of both a town hall meeting and a discussion with Americans for Pharma Reform as part of their Bust Big Pharma Bus Tour.
“We’re a nonprofit group of concerned Americans that are just fed up with the predatory practices of ‘big pharma,’” said Rob Burgess, executive director of Americans for Pharma Reform. “As we started to study this issue more and more, we realized that Americans understood that prescription drugs were expensive but they didn’t know why.”
